Sani Beach
For those wanting choice, activities and a lively atmosphere
Sani Beach is the largest of the five hotels and offers the classic Sani experience. Set on the beautiful Cape Sani, it enjoys a wonderful beachfront position with extensive facilities, three Blue Flag beaches, 392 rooms and suites and easy access to everything the wider resort has to offer.
This is a fantastic choice for guest who want plenty of options during their holiday. Children can enjoy the beaches, sports facilities and activities, while parents can make the most of the restaurants, spa facilities and wider Sani experience. Accommodation ranges from double rooms through to larger family suites, making it a flexible option for families travelling with children of different ages. Sani Beach works particularly well for families who appreciate having everything close at hand and enjoy the energy of a larger resort.
A resort designed around choice
What makes Sani so special is not simply the quality of the individual hotels, beaches or restaurants, but the way everything comes together.
Families can spend the morning exploring one of the resort’s beautiful beaches, enjoy lunch overlooking the Aegean Sea, take part in one of the many activities available and then wander to Sani Marina in the evening for dinner, drinks or a browse around the boutiques.
At the heart of the resort is Sani Marina, a beautiful waterfront setting with the atmosphere of a small Mediterranean village. With award winning restaurants, relaxed bars, luxury yachts and boutique shopping, it creates a wonderful sense of freedom. Your evenings do not need to revolve around the hotel; instead, you can choose how you would like each day to unfold.
Sani is made up of five individual five star hotels. Although they are all within walking distance of one another, each has a distinct personality, making the choice of hotel one of the most important parts of planning your stay.
The question I am most often asked is: Which Sani hotel should we choose? The answer depends entirely on the type of holiday you are looking for.
Sani Club
For those seeking space, nature and tranquillity
Sani Club offers a completely different atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, with beautiful views towards the Aegean Sea and Mount Olympus, it has a more peaceful and secluded feel. The recently renovated accommodation has been designed to reflect its surroundings, with natural materials, soft colours and a stronger connection to the landscape.
With spacious rooms, suites and bungalows, including options with private gardens and pools, Sani Club is a wonderful choice for those who value space and privacy while still wanting access to all the facilities of the wider resort.
This is the Sani I would recommend for families or couples looking for a calmer pace and a closer connection with nature.
Finding the right Sani experience
The beauty of Sani is that there is no single "best" hotel. The right choice depends on your family, your stage of life and how you like to spend your holidays.
A family travelling with toddlers may love the convenience of Porto Sani. Those with older children may appreciate the activities and atmosphere of Sani Beach or the contemporary feel of Sani Dunes. Couples or families looking for a more private experience may prefer Sani Club or Sani Asterias.
This is where my role comes in. Through my Sani Ambassador status, my relationship with the Sani team and the experience of helping many clients plan their stays, I can offer guidance beyond simply recommending the resort itself. Understanding the subtle differences between each hotel is what allows me to match clients with the experience that feels right for them.
Sani is somewhere I am always delighted to recommend, and I would love to help you discover the side of the resort that best suits your next trip to Greece.

Porto Sani
My recommendation for younger families
Porto Sani has long been a favourite choice for families travelling with younger children. Located in the heart of the resort, it places you just steps from Sani Marina, restaurants, boutiques and the beaches. The suite accommodation at Porto, together with its dedicated family facilities and thoughtful touches make it particularly appealing for those travelling with babies, toddlers or younger children.
One of the things Sani does exceptionally well is understand that family holidays need to work for everyone. Porto Sani combines comfort and sophistication with practical details that genuinely make travelling with little ones easier. Families can benefit from facilities such as baby equipment, children's dining options and access to the resort’s excellent kids clubs, while still enjoying the restaurants, beaches and experiences that make Sani so special.
Why Sani remains one of my favourite family resorts in Europe
There are some resorts that become popular because of one particular feature. A beautiful beach, an exceptional restaurant or a spectacular setting.
Sani is different.
Set within a 1,000 acre ecological reserve on the Kassandra peninsula of Halkidiki, Sani Resort combines the natural beauty of northern Greece with the service, choice and attention to detail of a world class resort. Surrounded by pine forests, wetlands, a protected bird sanctuary and seven kilometres of Blue Flag beaches, it offers something increasingly rare: a place where families can enjoy time together while still having the space, freedom and experiences to make the holiday feel entirely their own.
Just 45 minutes from Thessaloniki International Airport, Sani feels wonderfully accessible while still offering a sense of escape.
Having stayed at Sani with my own family, and with many of my clients returning year after year, I have seen first hand why it continues to be one of Europe’s most sought after family resorts.
Sani Dunes
For a more contemporary and sophisticated holiday
Sani Dunes has a more grown up and refined atmosphere. With its beachfront location, exclusive D Spa and stunning 3,500 square metre heated swimming pool, it offers a beautifully relaxed setting. The waterside design creates a calm and elegant feel, with rooms and suites positioned around the pool and overlooking the gardens, marina or Aegean Sea.
For families with older children, couples travelling together or those looking for a more grown up atmosphere while still enjoying the benefits of Sani, Dunes is an excellent choice.
Sani Asterias
The most exclusive side of Sani
Sani Asterias represents the most intimate and private experience within the resort. Located beside Sani Marina and a private Blue Flag beach, this boutique property offers beautifully designed residences and villas, some with private pools, alongside a more personalised level of service.
The recent renovation introduces a new chapter for Sani Asterias, including redesigned spaces and the transformed Water Restaurant, with menus created by Michelin starred chef Bruno Oger. For clients looking for privacy, space and a more exclusive style of holiday, Sani Asterias offers something truly special.
Beyond the beach
One of the reasons I continue to recommend Sani is that the experience extends far beyond the pool and beach.
For those who enjoy being active, there is an impressive choice of activities including the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy, Chelsea Football Academy and Bear Grylls Survival Academy, alongside sailing, watersports, cycling, diving and the treetop adventure park.
Younger guests can enjoy the excellent kids clubs and Ozone Teen Club, while parents have plenty of opportunities to relax in one of the five spas, enjoy the beaches or simply slow the pace.
Dining is a significant highlight. With more than 25 restaurants across the resort and marina, there is genuine variety throughout your stay, from relaxed lunches by the sea to memorable evening meals overlooking the marina. The Dine Around programme also allows guests to experience different restaurants across the resort, making each evening feel different.
When upgrading is worthwhile: Sani Suite Collection
For families looking for more space, additional privacy and enhanced service, the Sani Suite Collection is worth considering. Available across selected one, two and three bedroom suites, residences and villas, the collection includes a number of additional benefits designed to make the stay feel even more personalised. These include dedicated concierge support, priority reservations for dining and experiences, enhanced in room amenities, upgraded toiletries, laundry service, exclusive beach experiences and complimentary airport transfers.
For families travelling together, celebrating a special occasion or simply wanting more space during their holiday, these additional touches can make a noticeable difference.
